Studio 87 is built for artists! We are not only artists but also purposely built this space to showcase other artists’ work in and around Baltimore. We’ve been honored to host several art galleries since we opened, and we hope you will consider us for your next gallery!
The space is clean, white, and open. We also supply tables and chairs as needed, cocktail tables, optional audio and visual equipment with rentals, and all the amenities your guests would need to enjoy their time at your gallery.
The American Paintings by Samantha Iaconi
Samantha Iaconi @samiaconi is an artist born and working in Baltimore Maryland. She has BFA in Painting from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Her studio work is influenced by surrealism and American class culture. She utilizes traditional mediums to create surreal narratives of everyday life. Iaconi researches iconic American imagery to explore the connection between past and present American culture.
“The American Paintings” exhibition displays acrylic paintings depicting everyday American life encompassed with surreal symbolism. Each painting exhibited has a direct compositional correlation with iconic American Paintings by artists Norman Rockwell, Grant Wood, Edward Hopper, and Andre Wyeth.
