It Goes Down In The DM

Throughout the process of getting the keys, negotiating a lease, building brand assets, developing the backend workflows, working on the website, and doing all the things, people show love. They saw the work that was being done, felt it, and reached out with love and support constantly. One of those people was Caroline.

She DM’ed me out of nowhere one time and mentioned that some art on those big windows would be a wonderful addition to the space and the things we were aiming to do. I checked out her Instagram (and you should too!) and saw beautiful artistic displays on so many windows and murals all over Baltimore. We instantly connected and started following each other. The more she posted, the more work I saw and knew I would be reaching out soon. I initially agreed to get some work done but said I couldn’t invest at the time. Not only was the studio under construction but my photography fall season was in FULL effect and it was a lot to juggle at the time. Fast forward 2 months later and we were ready to see what this was all about! 

Not only did Caroline and I meet over Instagram DM but she also met her art soulmate Kait also met over Instagram DM. They built a great relationship and they teamed to do multiple art pieces and murals over Baltimore. They also teamed up to give Studio 87 the love it much needed on those big windows!

The Process

We had a great time in the studio, documenting the process, recording videos, eating pizza and drinking sparkling water, and getting to know each other. 

In the end, this is a 5 Star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review! These ladies did a fantastic job and I’m sure #Dundalk is better off by this wonderful display.
